Do you possess hypnotising motor racing skills?

Posted by: ConversationalHypnosisCritic.com

Rumours has it that hypnosis, a mental state of role-enactment, can help a person boost his/her potentials. Most sports psychologists refer to this as mental training, with underlying skills such as visualization, goal-setting, concentration, relaxation, confidence and self-talk.

The most up-to-date and most effective sports psychology is the Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). This kind of programming classifies an athlete or sports enthusiast’s learning ability to visual, auditory, or kinaesthetic. In motor racing, if a motor racer’s learning ability is from the auditory or hearing, he would benefit from the technique by imagining the sound of the yells and cheers of the crowd after winning the race. The emotional experience that the motor racer gets from imagining the sound of the yells and cheers is enhanced by NLP. Moreover, NLP also teaches the motor racer to remember the emotion at will during a race to stimulate him in performing at his best.

Similarly, visualization is among the most dominant mental training techniques. This technique enables the powerful subconscious, which serves as the control centre of all body movements and reactions of every individual to boost their performance and conquer various challenges that they have or they may encounter.

According to an unknown mental trainer, visualization involves the relaxation of the mind where one can clearly imagine, in the case of motor racing, the height of one’s ability during a race.
More so, if done regularly, shall result to fine-tuning of the body during a motor race, overcoming doubts, overcoming technical errors, overcoming intimidation, increase confidence and concentration, and improving the motor racer’s motivation to practice.
